BIOGRAPHY

​Clare F. Steinberg is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.  She currently practices in the firm’s Litigation Department.

Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Ms. Steinberg served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ellen Lipton Hollander in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.

Ms. Steinberg received her law degree with honors from the University of Chicago Law School, where she mentored local high school students through Neighbors, the Law School’s community service organization.  Prior to law school, she was a paralegal in the Philadelphia office of Pepper Hamilton.  In 2011, Ms. Steinberg earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Johns Hopkins University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

Ms. Steinberg is admitted to practice in New York and the District of Columbia and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.
