Monica M. Murphy is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where she is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department. Her practice focuses on environmental litigation and regulatory enforcement as well as white collar defense and investigations. Her experience includes assisting clients appearing before government agencies as part of regulatory enforcement proceedings and counseling clients on regulatory compliance issues.
She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School in 2020, where she served as the Managing Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. During law school, Monica served as a Littleton Fellow for the Legal Practice Skills Program.
In 2016, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Colgate University where she was awarded the Dean of the College Special Recognition Award and the Women’s Studies Award for Academic Excellence.
Monica is a member of the District of Columbia Bar.
