Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP is pleased to announce that Collin Cox has joined the firm as a partner in the Houston office. Cox, formerly a partner with Yetter Coleman LLP, will lead Gibson Dunn’s litigation practice in Houston.

About Collin Cox
Cox is a trial lawyer who leads complex commercial cases in state and federal courts and in arbitrations. He has particular experience in the energy, financial services, and technology industries.
He serves on the Board of Directors for the Houston Bar Association and the Board of Visitors for Duke University School of Law, where he also serves on the adjunct faculty. Cox is Vice President of the Da Camera of Houston Board of Trustees and is on the UTHealth Development Board Executive Committee and the TEACH Board of Directors. He is a Past Chair of the Texas Lyceum and the Buffalo Bayou Partnership.
Before joining the firm, Cox was a partner at Yetter Coleman LLP in Houston. He also previously practiced with Williams & Connolly LLP in Washington, D.C. and served as a law clerk for Judge Anthony J. Scirica of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
He graduated summa cum laude in 2001 from Duke University School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of Duke Law Journal. He received a master’s of philosophy with First Class Honours from the University of Cambridge in 1999 and earned his bachelor’s degree magna cum laude from Baylor University in 1997.
