Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP is pleased to announce that partner Greta B. Williams has been named Co-Partner-in-Charge of its Washington, D.C. office.
Williams succeeds partner Cynthia Richman, who, along with Co-Partner-in-Charge Thomas H. Dupree Jr., was instrumental in leading the D.C. office over the last several years.
“Cindy has been, and will continue to be, a leader in our D.C. office. We are thankful for her service as a Partner-in-Charge, and especially for her steadfast leadership during the pandemic,” said Gibson Dunn’s Chair and Managing Partner Barbara L. Becker. “Greta, likewise, has already made innumerable contributions including as a mentor and an active member of office and firmwide committees. She will build on her time as a firm leader with this new role, and I look forward to seeing all she will accomplish during her tenure.”

About Greta B. Williams
In addition to serving as Co-Partner-in-Charge, Williams is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department, the Labor and Employment Practice, and the Media, Entertainment and Technology Practice.
Williams is a leading employment lawyer with a focus on executive employment disputes, class actions, and trade secrets and noncompete matters. She represents clients across industry sectors, including the technology and media industries. She has also handled numerous employment-related investigations involving sexual harassment and other #MeToo allegations, and other workplace misconduct.
Williams earned her law degree in 2009 from University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. She graduated cum laude from Amherst College in 2003, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law, Jurisprudence and Social Thought.
