The Deal named New York partner Saee Muzumdar and Washington, D.C. partner AnnElyse Gains to its annual Top Women in Dealmaking list, which “looked to identify the women setting the bar for the next generation of attorneys” and “honors exemplary women in the legal profession.” The list was published on March 30, 2023.
Saee Muzumdar is Co-Chair of the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group. She is a corporate transactional lawyer whose practice includes representing both strategic companies and private equity clients (including their portfolio companies) in connection with all aspects of their domestic and cross-border M&A activities and general corporate counseling.
AnnElyse Gains focuses on corporate restructurings, distressed financing, liability management transactions, and other special situation transactions in acquisitions, out-of-court restructurings, and Chapter 11 cases.
