In conversation with The Recorder, Ashlie shared her advice for women starting out in tech law, highlighting the importance of gaining a strong understanding of the underlying technology and business dynamics, alongside the legal landscape. “The more you immerse yourself in the technical and business context, the more confident and effective you’ll be as an adviser,” she said. “This curiosity not only builds your credibility and confidence, but is essential to effective problem solving.”
