Gibson Dunn Chair and Managing Partner Barbara Becker recently spoke with the Financial Times (subscription required) about recognizing the significance of being a woman in law firm leadership.

Barbara mentioned that when she was elected chair, “a colleague in our Singapore office who works in the copy centre told me he showed the announcement to his young daughter because he wanted to show her an example of what was possible for her own future.”

She also noted that “moments like that are such tangible examples of how much representation matters.”

Barbara was recognized in the Law Firm Leaders category as one of the top five women chairs/managing partners.
