Firm News  |  May 18, 2026

Gibson Dunn announced today that Chris Slack has joined the firm’s London office as a partner in its Real Estate Practice Group, where he will work closely with the Investment Funds Practice Group.

Chris’s expertise will deepen the firm’s cross-practice capabilities, supporting clients active in sectors where real estate, private capital, and fund‑related strategies increasingly converge.

“Chris’s multi-disciplinary experience is an asset to the firm,” said Eric M. Feuerstein, Co‑Chair of Gibson Dunn’s Real Estate Practice Group. “He brings a unique combination of real estate and investment funds experience that reflects the evolving needs of our real estate clients not only in London but across Europe, the Middle East, and other markets. His ability to bridge these critical substantive areas will further enhance our support for clients across transactions involving sophisticated real estate capital structures, fund platforms, and cross‑border investment strategies.”

Chris’s arrival marks the latest step in Gibson Dunn’s continued investment in its London real estate platform, complementing its growth across private equity, M&A, and other priority practice areas. Last year, Gibson Dunn hired leading real estate partners Mark Manson-Bahr and Hayden Cameron and investment funds partner James O’Donnell in London as it bolstered its ranks.

“This is the perfect time to be joining Gibson Dunn,” said Chris. “The global platform, the ambition of the real estate and investment funds practices, and the opportunity to build on the firm’s marquee real estate capability in London make this move an exciting prospect. Clients in the real estate sector are increasingly seeking advice and support on their highly structured and complex real estate capital raising transactions – spanning funds, co-investments, joint ventures, secondaries, and other liquidity solutions – Gibson Dunn’s cross-practice and cross-border approach is perfectly positioned to meet those needs.”
