Gibson Dunn’s Business Restructuring and Reorganization Practice Group advises corporate clients as they undertake a restructuring process. This process often involves challenging stakeholder negotiations, raising new debt and equity (including debtor-in-possession financing), distressed investment and divestment, and implementing a consensual or court approved restructuring plan.
The team advises clients on financial restructuring, distressed mergers and acquisitions, distressed debt trading, consensual turnarounds, insolvency proceedings and special situation transactions.
The team also guides insolvency practitioners and turnaround professionals, as well as hedge funds, private equity firms and financial institutions through such restructuring and bankruptcy proceedings.
