Job Summary

Based in Los Angeles, the Benefits Assistant will be primarily responsible for providing clerical and other support to the Benefits Department.
This role will report to the Manager, Benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Creating, monitoring, and maintaining employee and partner files.
- Scheduling and arranging new hire benefits orientations.
- Monitoring new hire automated benefits notices, assisting with open enrollment, ordering supplies, and organizing and coordinating mass mailing projects.
- Assisting with COBRA process and generating initial COBRA notices and COBRA termination notices.
- Maintaining various logs, performing monthly audits of insurance plans, reconciling and processing payment of monthly bills for various insurance plans.
- Analyzing data and running PeopleSoft processes.
- Maintaining updated desk procedures.
- Performing and providing support for special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Highly organized to effectively plan, track, evaluate and follow-up on multiple priorities for multiple people.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and sense of urgency around customer service.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to work overtime as necessary.
Experience
- College degree required.
- Some experience in Benefits or Human Resources department strongly preferred.
- Experience in benefits or financial analysis and administration.
- Strong Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel skills.

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual compensation range for this position is $60-70k. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
