Copy Center Coordinator – Evening Shift

Based in New York, the Copy Center Coordinator will be responsible for task management and delegation of work for the Copy Center during the evening shift.
This role reports to the Copy Center Supervisor.
Please note: The hours for this role are Monday-Thursday from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and Fridays from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Responsibilities include:
- Queue management, self-assignment, and delegation of work by scoping requests and evaluating deadlines.
- Organizing workload and efficiently multi-tasking to meet various client’s deadlines.
- Serving as backup to the Supervisor, ensuring continuity and leadership during off-hours and assisting with performance evaluations.
- Troubleshooting equipment in Copy Center and throughout the office, escalating service calls as needed.
- Handling of requests from start (intake/job self-assignment) to end (delivery).
- Digital printing high volume blowbacks/batch printing from network folders and/or emails with attachments.
- Batch printing using Adobe Acrobat to combine files to print and DocBuster software for job scoping and to print native files and multi-folder requests.
- Batch creating custom tabs and folders from provided lists and/or by file name using a combination of Excel, Directory Lister, and macro-enabled Word templates.
- Manually assembling binders of printed material, including creating tabs, hole-punching, and creating labels in Microsoft Word.
- Scanning documents to email and network folders using eCopy ShareScan & CaptureOnTouch.
- OCRing of PDF files to make them text searchable.
- Data transfers to/from USB drives/CDs/DVDs (media), copying files to/from network drives, and reviewing file size properties to determine most appropriately sized media to use.
- Cutting custom sized name tags, tent cards, invitations, and other specialized material for other support departments.
- Collaborating with internal departments for specialized projects.
- Logging all requests, deliveries, and media insertion into the corresponding logs.
- Capturing charges in Equitrac and the Excel-based Disbursement/Billing Log for services rendered.
- After-hours office support including coordinating deliveries with Dial Car messenger service.
- Maintain supply and paper inventory.
- Archiving job tickets and keeping the department well-organized.

Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a legal or professional print environment, with demonstrated proficiency in relevant software and digital tools.
- Prior experience in a customer service environment.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably a law firm, requiring multi-tasking and a high degree of accuracy.
- Technically proficient in print management and software including Outlook, Office, Adobe Acrobat, DocBuster, Directory Lister, eCopy ShareScan, CaptureOnTouch, and Power PDF.

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual compensation range for this position is $62-67k. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
