Based in Dallas, the Receptionist will work alongside another receptionist and will be responsible for being the first interaction that a client or guest has when visiting the firm and is responsible for ensuring that the guest is greeted in a warm and inviting manner. Each Receptionist plays an integral role in the execution of a concierge-level experience for our clients and guests.
This role reports to the Office Services Manager.
**The hours for this position are Monday – Friday; 7:45 am – 4:45 pm CT.
Responsibilities include:
- Welcoming clients and managing visitor registration with building security protocols.
- Issuing parking validations, tracking usage accurately, and logging incoming deliveries.
- Managing incoming and outgoing calls using the Cisco phone system.
- Scheduling and reserving conference rooms; supporting various clerical tasks as needed.
- Processing check requests and prepare expense reports for approval.
- Coordinating lunch orders for client meetings, maintaining related records, and assisting departments with special projects.
- Collaborating with the catering team and provide backup support to the Catering Assistant when necessary.
Qualifications
- Proactive and have strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to use good judgment in handling administrative tasks in a timely manner with limited supervision and in a professional manner.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and problem solve while remaining calm in a deadline-driven situation.
- Good telephone demeanor and excellent grammar, punctuation, and spelling skills.
- Must have strong communication skills with diplomacy, professionalism, and courtesy, by phone, in-person, and email.
- Ability to work overtime as necessary.
Experience
- High school diploma required.
- At least five years of previous receptionist/front office experience in a law firm or in a professional services environment.
- Demonstrated high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Windows 7.

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual compensation range for this position is $45-52k. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
