Based in Houston, the Receptionist will be responsible for being the first point of contact for clients, guests, and employees. The Receptionist plays a critical role in delivering a world-class, concierge-level experience.

This role reports to the Office Services Manager.

**The hours for this role are Mon – Fri 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT.

Responsibilities include:

  • Warmly welcoming clients, visitors, and employees, ensuring a professional and friendly first impression.
  • Coordinating visitor registration and maintaining compliance with building security procedures.
  • Managing and distributing building access cards, and coordinating with building management on parking and fitness center contracts.
  • Handling multi-line phone operations via Cisco phone system and directing calls with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Validating and tracking parking tickets and managing related records.
  • Scheduling and reserving conference rooms and flexible workspaces to optimize space usage.
  • Supporting local office events and handle a variety of clerical tasks, as needed.
  • Processing check requests, deposits, and expense reports for review and approval.
  • Preparing and submitting office invoices via Chrome River for Director-level approval.
  • Providing backup coverage for Catering Assistants during absences, events, and peak times.
  • Composing and distributing internal communications, such as birthday and birth announcements, welcome emails, and updates to the office intranet page.
  • Maintaining internal contact lists and administrative records.
  • Directing employment verification inquiries to the appropriate department.
  • Assisting with projects and assignments from the Office Services Manager and Director of Administration.

  • Ability to work overtime as necessary.

Experience

  • High school diploma required.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience as a receptionist or in a front-office administrative role, preferably in a professional services or law firm environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is essential.

Compensation & Benefits:

The annual compensation range for this position is $50-60k. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
