Partner Katie Townsend and associate Raleigh Cavero authored the ABA Communications Lawyer’s (membership required) “Affirmative Litigation: The New First Choice for News Organizations Targeted with Government Investigative Demands,” describing how a recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling provides journalists and news organizations with “a clear path to promptly challenge non-self-executing subpoenas and other investigative demands issued by government entities and officials that chill the exercise of First Amendment rights.”
