Kainat Abbas is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Gibson Dunn. She currently practices in the firm's Transactional Department.
Kainat earned her Juris Doctor in 2025 from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. While in law school, she served as an editor of the Southern California Review of Law and Social Justice and as a member of the Small Business Clinic. Kainat received her Master of Arts in Education from Loyola Marymount University in 2021 and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Public Policy.
