Katie Beaudin

Associate Attorney

Katie Beaudin is an associate in the Orange County office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She is a member of the Litigation Practice Group.

Katie has represented clients in federal and state courts, as well as private arbitration, in a wide variety of complex litigation matters, including cases involving contract disputes, business torts, unfair competition, intellectual property, labor and employment, data security, and shareholder dispute. In 2019, she successfully litigated a seven-day jury trial in San Bernardino Superior Court, representing an indigent plaintiff in case alleging fraud, conversion, dependent adult financial abuse, and dependent adult neglect that resulted in jury verdict of $3.3 million for her client.

She has been recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America™ for Commercial Litigation (2021-2024).

Katie received her Juris Doctor cum laude from Notre Dame Law School in 2015. At Notre Dame Law School, she was the editor in chief of the Journal of College & University Law and a member of the moot court team. She also represented an Illinois prisoner in a federal habeas corpus appellate proceeding and argued in front of the Seventh Circuit on his behalf. Katie graduated from UC Berkeley in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Economics & Policy.

She is admitted to practice before the Northern, Southern, Central and Eastern District Courts of California as well as California state courts.

Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Katie was an associate in the Litigation Department of Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth in Orange County.
