Amanda Bevan-de Bernède is a French law qualified partner in the Paris office of Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, and a member of the firm’s Global Finance and Business Restructuring Practice Groups.
Ms. Bevan-de Bernède specializes in structured finance transactions, in particular in the context of LBO transactions, and complex cross-border debt restructuring transactions. She seamlessly represents senior and junior lenders, financial sponsors, borrowers and distressed investors in their significant strategic transactions.
Ms. Bevan-de Bernède is experienced in acquisition finance (whether using all-senior, senior, second lien, unitranche, mezzanine or PIK financing), advising lenders, borrowers and sponsors on leveraged buy-outs, build-ups and corporate acquisitions. Amanda also advises on bespoke financings for companies that require more complex corporate financings, including “special situation” financings for companies struggling to raise debt post-restructuring.
Ms. Bevan-de Bernède has acted on some of the largest French acquisition finance transactions over the last decade, but also on many of the most complex debt restructuring transactions completed in France over recent years, advising clients within a cross-practice team of lawyers combining excellent restructuring expertise with thorough technical knowledge of finance transactions.
