Imane Choukir is an associate in the Paris office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, and a member of the Firm’s International Arbitration, Transnational Litigation, Business Restructuring and Competition and Antitrust Practice Groups.
Her wide practice focuses on dispute resolution, restructuring and antitrust.
Imane specializes in complex international litigation and arbitration proceedings arising out of investments and general commercial transactions.
She acts on debts restructuring, where she advises companies of all sizes and sectors, insolvency practitioners, debtors or creditors in connection with pre-insolvency and insolvency proceedings, either in domestic or cross-border contexts.
Imane also has a wealth of experience advising clients in connection with all areas of competition law including State aid, especially in regulated sectors such as energy and infrastructure, telecoms and the banking sector, as she works seamlessly with our Brussels’ leading antitrust team.
Admitted to the Paris Bar, she received a LL.M. (Master of Laws) in Competition Law with honors from King’s College in 2019, as well as a Master's degree and an MBA in Management with honors from University Paris II – Panthéon Assas in 2018.
She speaks French and English fluently, has an excellent command of Spanish and Italian, and is communicative in Arabic.
