Emma Lavaysse di Battista is a legal counsel in the Paris office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, where she serves as a member of the Firm’s Projects and Infrastructure as well as Power and Renewables Practice Groups.

Emma advises a wide range of French and international clients in connection with their infrastructure, telecommunications, energy transition and energy (conventional or renewables) and transport projects. She has significant experience in structured finance transactions such as complex cross-border project financing and infrastructure acquisition transactions, as well as in infrastructure and energy M&A transactions.

Prior to joining Gibson Dunn in 2023, she practiced in the Paris Energy & Infrastructure department of an international law firm in Paris.

Admitted to the Quebec Bar since December 2022, Emma graduated with a law degree from Université de Montréal and graduated in Banking and Financial law from Université du Mans.

She speaks fluent English.
