BIOGRAPHY

Valy Menendez is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.  She practices in the firm’s Corporate Department.

Ms. Menendez earned her Juris Doctor in 2022 from Columbia Law School, where she was named a James Kent Scholar and a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.  While in law school, she held leadership positions in the Latinx Law Students Association, the California Society, and the Paralegal Pathways Initiative.  She also served as a Teaching Assistant for Professor Eric Talley in Corporations and Judge Gerard Lynch in Civil Procedure.

Ms. Menendez graduated with distinction from Yale University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, having double majored in Political Science and Ethnicity, Race, and Migration.

Ms. Menendez is admitted to practice in the State of California.
