E Jin Lee is an associate in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He is a member of the firm’s Litigation and International Arbitration Practice Groups.

E Jin has extensive experience in international commercial and investor-state arbitration. He has represented clients in international arbitrations spanning a range of sectors, including telecommunications, energy, natural resources, technology, intellectual property, taxation, and apparel.

E Jin has served as counsel in international arbitrations administered under various institutional rules, including those of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) and International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID).  He also has extensive experience in ad hoc arbitration conducted under the Arbitration Rules of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).

E Jin has particular experience in counselling businesses with distressed assets in non-U.S. jurisdictions.  He also advises clients in pre-dispute postures in order to devise litigation/arbitration strategy, as well as assess, manage and contain litigation/arbitration risk. Additionally, E Jin has experience in advising clients on global asset recovery efforts.

He maintains an active pro bono practice. In particular, E Jin assisted REDRESS, a human rights organization dedicated to assisting victims of torture, with a submission before the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights.

Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, E Jin clerked at the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) in The Hague, where he supported arbitral tribunals in major investor-state, inter-state, and international commercial arbitrations. He was a member of the PCA delegation that established the PCA’s Singapore office.

E Jin earned his Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School, where he graduated as a James Kent Scholar, Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and a recipient of the Parker School Certificate for Achievement in International and Comparative Law. At Columbia, E Jin was a research assistant to Professor George A. Bermann (Chief Reporter) on the Restatement of the U.S. Law of International Commercial and Investor-State Arbitration. He also served on Editorial Board of the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law.  Additionally, E Jin holds a degree in English law from King’s College London, where he graduated with First-Class Honours.

His scholarship on the law and practice of international arbitration has been published in the American Review of International Arbitration and other leading outlets.

Colleen Devine is an associate attorney in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.

Her practice focuses on foreign judgment and international arbitration award enforcement, transnational litigation, and arbitration. Colleen also maintains a pro bono practice advising clients on matters of asylum and international human rights law. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a UNHR Fellow at the Permanent Mission of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Geneva, Switzerland participating in the Universal Periodic Review process and the United Nations Human Rights Council.

Colleen received her Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School, where she served as the Managing Online Content Editor for the Michigan Journal of International Law and as an International Law and Development Fellow at the Law Reform and Development Commission, a division of the Namibian Ministry of Justice. She received her Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Women’s Studies from the University of Michigan.

Karla Booth is of counsel in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where she practices in the Real Estate Department.

Karla’s practice includes a broad range of commercial real estate transactions in a variety of asset classes, including senior housing, multifamily, office, hotel and mixed use. She represents owners (including senior housing owners), real estate investment funds, real estate investment managers, developers and equity investors in connection with the purchase, sale, financing, development and leasing of commercial real property assets and portfolios, including in joint ventures.

Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Karla practiced with the firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP from 2012 to 2021 and with Davis, Polk & Wardwell LLP from 2004 to 2012.

She earned her J.D. degree from Harvard Law School in 2004. Additionally, Karla earned her B.A. degree in Political Science and Economics, summa cum laude, from University of South Florida in 2000.

Raquel A. Sghiatti is an associate in the Orange County office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where she currently practices in the firm’s Litigation Department.

Raquel graduated from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 2020. During law school, she won the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Contracts and served as a legal extern for the Newport Beach City Attorney’s Office.

Amanda Sadra is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She is a member of the Litigation Practice Group.

Amanda has experience in a variety of complex litigation matters across practice areas, including betting and gaming, entertainment, labor and employment, and constitutional law. Her practice also includes public policy services such as coalition building, strategic counseling, and substantive policy analysis.  She also maintains an active pro bono practice.

From 2021 to 2022, Amanda served as a law clerk to the Honorable Cormac J. Carney on the Central District of California.

She received her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 2020. While in law school, Amanda was a research assistant to Dean Erwin Chemerinsky, served as co-director of Berkeley’s national championship-winning trial advocacy team, and was an active member of Berkeley Law’s Youth Advocacy Project. Amanda received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science with highest honors from the University of California, Berkeley.

Prior to law school, Amanda was a congressional staffer for United States Senator Dianne Feinstein, specializing in housing and homelessness, immigration, and criminal justice reform issues in Southern California.

Paige E. Muhlestein is an associate in the Orange County office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She practices in the firm’s Litigation Department and is a member of the firm’s Appellate and Constitutional Law and Litigation practice groups.

Paige has represented clients in trial and appellate matters in state and federal courts in complex cases involving the technology, energy, and transportation industries. She also maintains an active pro bono practice.

Before joining the firm, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jerome A. Holmes of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

Paige received her Juris Doctor degree from Stanford Law School. While at Stanford, she served as President of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society and a member of the Stanford Religious Liberty Clinic, and was awarded the Gerald Gunther Prize in constitutional law. Paige received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where she graduated magna cum laude and was awarded the James Phelan Prize in English literature.

Elizabeth Ngo is a real estate and corporate associate in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.

She received her Juris Doctor in 2019 from New York University, where she served as an Articles Editor of the NYU Journal of Legislation and Public Policy. Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Arts in History and Economics from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York in 2015.

Nadia Alhadi is an associate attorney in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She is a member of the Firm’s Litigation and International Arbitration Practice Groups.

Nadia specializes in matters of public international law and international criminal law. Prior to joining the Firm, she served as the judicial clerk to the Honorable Judge Nawaf Salam of the International Court of Justice as well as to the Honorable Judge Marc Perrin de Brichambaut of the International Criminal Court. At each clerkship, Nadia performed the majority of her duties in French.

She received her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School in December 2018 where she was the recipient of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award and served as Managing Articles Editor of the Michigan Journal of International Law. She also actively participated in Michigan Law’s clinical programs, working extensively with the Workers’ Rights Clinic and the Human Trafficking Clinic, and additionally interned in the Trial Division of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. Stefan received his J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law in 2020, where he served as an editor of the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law. During law school, he interned for the Colorado Supreme Court, the Western District of Texas Federal District Court, and completed a Capital Markets externship at a law office in Berlin, Germany, while enrolled at Humboldt University’s Excellence Cluster graduate program in European law.

Prior to law school, Stefan obtained a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Delft, Netherlands, and B.A. and B.Phil. degrees from the University of Oxford. He graduated with a Double First from Oxford, earning the Gibbs Prize for the highest GPA in a double honors program across all 39 Oxford colleges.

Anna Williams is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, representing clients in various real estate, regulatory and transactional matters.

She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley, where she was an editor for the California Law Review, competed on the school’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Team and served as an academic tutor in civil procedure.
