Adam Lapidus is of counsel in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He is a member of the firm’s Derivatives Practice Group and Cleantech Industry Group.

Adam advises both end users and dealers on structuring, documenting, and negotiating transactions across a broad range of derivatives products. Such products include equity derivatives, interest rate hedges, commodity derivatives, and privately negotiated FX and currency option transactions.

Adam’s practice also covers the margin, clearing, netting, and governance considerations related to derivatives transactions. In addition, he advises clients on the generation, sale, and purchase of renewable energy credits and carbon offsets.

Adam graduated from Fordham University School of Law in 2009, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board and the Fordham International Law Journal.  He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from The University of Pennsylvania, magna cum laude, in 2005. Prior to entering private practice, Adam worked for nearly a decade as in-house counsel to financial institutions.

Frank P. Coté is an Of Counsel in the Orange County office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, where he practices as part of the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. He focuses his practice on patent litigation matters, with a particular emphasis in high-tech cases.

Frank has experience in a wide variety of technologies, including digital imaging, hard disk drives, flash memory, random access memory, integrated circuit manufacture and packaging, print controllers, variable data printing, power conversion, high-voltage protection circuitry, computer display technology, internet security and authentication, medical devices, wireless data transmission, lighting applications, clean power generation, and 3D graphics. His experience includes involvement in several patent trials, including cases before district courts in Texas and California and a hearing before the International Trade Commission. Frank also has assisted clients with IP due diligence, technology licensing, and trademark clearance. His trial experience, technical skill, and business acumen allow him to effectively manage complicated technical cases with an eye towards summary judgment, trial, and achieving client objectives.

In addition to his experience in intellectual property matters, he has experience in complex commercial litigation matters involving contract disputes, insurance coverage, and products liability. He also has experience in immigration law, which he gained through his pro bono efforts.

Frank received his law degree in 1999 from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where he was a member of Loyola’s International and Comparative Law Review and selected for the Scott Moot Court Honors Board. In 1992, he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University, which he attended on a four-year Air Force ROTC Scholarship.

Before beginning his legal career, Frank served as an officer in the Air Force, where he held positions that honed his technical and managerial skills, including project engineer for Milstar, a multibillion dollar communications satellite system; assistant team leader for the International Space Station program; team leader for the Space Shuttle’s Main Engine program; and assistant professor of aerospace studies at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Frank has most recently been recognized in the area of patent litigation by The Best Lawyers in America®. He has also been recognized as a Super Lawyer (2012-2017) in intellectual property litigation by Southern California Super Lawyers and Los Angeles Magazine. Frank is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Northern, Southern, and Eastern Districts of California; the Eastern District of Texas; and in the United States Courts of Appeals for the Ninth and Federal Circuits. Before joining Gibson Dunn, Frank was a partner at Jones Day and Howrey LLP.

Andrei Malikov is a litigation associate in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.

He has been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America for Commercial Litigation since 2021 and Appellate Practice since 2023.

Andrei received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 2015 from the University of Michigan Law School. He received his Bachelor of Arts with departmental honors in English Literature from the University of Southern California in 2010.

Matt Buongiorno is an associate in the Dallas office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department and practices in the Privacy, Cybersecurity and Data Innovation Practice Group.

His practice focuses on a variety of data privacy and consumer protection matters, with an emphasis on representing clients in the technology and internet industries in both litigation and government investigations contexts. He also has experience advising companies on privacy and cybersecurity issues—including relating to legal and regulatory compliance with state, federal, and international laws—as well as counseling on data breach response management and notification issues.

Matt also has extensive antitrust litigation and related government investigations experience. He has previously defended one of the world’s largest banks in large class actions involving alleged manipulation of U.S. Dollar LIBOR and other interest rate and financial derivative benchmarks (Euribor, Yen, LIBOR, ISDAFix) and alleged manipulation of foreign exchange (FX) benchmarks.

He has been recognized on the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America lists from 2022-2025 for Antitrust Law, Litigation – Antitrust, and Litigation – Banking and Finance.

Matt earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Texas School of Law, where he served as an articles editor for the Texas Review of Litigation and competed in a moot court and mock trial. He graduated valedictorian from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.

Before attending law school, Matt was a Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellow with the Federation of American Scientists in Washington D.C. He then served as a Teach For America corps member on the Big Island of Hawaii where he taught high school math and comparative politics, and coached cross country and triathlon.

Outside of work, Matt is an avid and competitive triathlete. He has competed in over a dozen Ironman 70.3 triathlons—qualifying for the World Championship in 2018 and 2021—and three full Ironman triathlons.

Donald Harrison, a partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, joined the firm in 1988. His area of concentration is international trade matters, including representation and advice concerning the antidumping and countervailing duty laws and other United States import relief statutes. Mr. Harrison also focuses on United States customs matters, including customs classification and valuation issues, country of origin marking issues, customs audit and penalty matters, quota programs, and specialized areas such as the North American Free Trade Agreement, the foreign-trade zone program, and the Generalized System of Preferences. He is also actively involved in legislative developments in the trade area. Mr. Harrison was ranked by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business as one of the top attorneys in the nation for international trade and customs law. He has also been consistently recognized since 2022 by The Best Lawyers in America® in the areas of International Trade and Finance Law.

Mr. Harrison’s experience includes representing clients in cases and proceedings before the Commerce Department, the International Trade Commission, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (formerly the Customs Service), and the United States Trade Representative’s Office, as well as the Court of International Trade and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Mr. Harrison also represents clients in connection with non-United States international trade matters, including representation in antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings conducted by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce. He has written and spoken widely on United States trade law and policy, and has been invited by the Commerce Department to speak at programs on recent developments in antidumping and countervailing duty law, and by the Judicial Conference of the United States Court of International Trade in New York to participate as a panelist.

Following graduation from law school, Mr. Harrison served as a law clerk to Judge Francis L. Van Dusen, a judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in Philadelphia. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College with a degree in economics and magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he was a member of the Board of Editors of the Harvard Law Review.

Evan Kratzer is an associate in the Palo Alto office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property; Privacy, Cybersecurity and Data Innovation; and Artificial Intelligence practices. Evan has experience litigating patent disputes in federal district court, before the International Trade Commission, and on appeal to the Federal Circuit. He also advises clients on matters relating to data privacy and AI legal issues. Evan maintains an active pro bono docket focused on veterans benefits appeals and immigration proceedings.

Evan previously served as a law clerk for the Honorable Tiffany P. Cunningham of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the Honorable James V. Selna of the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

He earned his law degree from Stanford Law School, graduating with high pro bono distinction. While in law school, Evan was the Online Projects Editor of the Stanford Law Review, the Lead Articles Editor of the Stanford Law and Policy Review, and a member of the Juelsgaard Intellectual Property and Innovation Clinic. He also received the Jay M. Spears Award, given to recognize outstanding service to the Stanford Law Review. Prior to law school, Evan earned an A.B. in Public and International Affairs from Princeton University, from which he graduated summa cum laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

Evan is a member of the Board of Directors of the Asian Law Alliance, a Silicon Valley pro bono legal assistance non-profit. He is also a member of the Advisory Council of the Effron Center for the Study of America at Princeton University.

To Nhu Huynh is an associate in the Houston office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She practices in the areas of real estate and corporate law. To Nhu advises institutional lenders, investors and businesses on real property secured financing, development, acquisitions and dispositions. To Nhu also maintains an active pro bono practice, representing clients in family and immigration law matters.

To Nhu graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston Law Center, where she was inducted into the Order of the Coif. Jimmy Rotstein is a senior associate in the Los Angeles office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He is a former federal prosecutor with extensive experience in litigating high-stakes criminal and civil matters across a broad range of practice areas. Jimmy specializes in white-collar criminal matters, government investigations, internal investigations, and complex civil litigation. He has first-chaired federal jury and bench trials and has argued significant motions at every stage of litigation.

Jimmy represents individuals and major companies in high-profile criminal and civil matters, which include:

  • Represented COO of publicly traded company who was the target of parallel DOJ and SEC investigations involving alleged financial fraud. All criminal charges were dismissed.
  • Represented CFO of publicly traded company in SEC investigation alleging market manipulation. SEC closed the investigation and no charges were filed. 
  • Represented multiple real estate companies in criminal investigation conducted by United States Attorney’s Office. No criminal charges were filed.
  • Secured dismissal with prejudice on behalf of major healthcare company for alleged securities laws violations. 

From 2019 – 2021, Jimmy served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California. During his time at the United States Attorney’s Office, he  successfully prosecuted a wide range of federal crimes including international money laundering, various frauds and conspiracies, human smuggling, and importation and distribution of controlled substances. Jimmy also successfully briefed cases before the Ninth Circuit and led a successful multi-year investigation involving a complex conspiracy.

Before his tenure at the United States Attorney’s Office, he was an associate at Latham & Watkins LLP. During that time, he specialized in white-collar criminal and complex litigation matters, in which he obtained multiple favorable resolutions for his clients.

Jimmy received his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. While at Georgetown, he was a member of the Georgetown Journal of Law & Public Policy. Jimmy received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. While at UCLA, Jimmy was a member of the UCLA football team, where he was a multiple letter winner and elected to the Pac-10 All-Academic team for two consecutive years.

Mary Lindsay Krebs is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She currently practices with the firm’s Litigation Department.

Mary Lindsay graduated from Vanderbilt Law School in 2023. She served as the Senior En Banc Editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review, in which she published a Note analyzing educators’ First Amendment rights in light of anti-CRT classroom speech restrictions. She received Scholastic Excellence Awards in Regulatory State and Education Law. While in law school, she served as a board intern with the PENCIL nonprofit via Young Leaders Council.

Mary Lindsay graduated with honors from Washington University in Saint Louis in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology. Prior to law school, Mary Lindsay was an elementary school teacher and dean with Teach for America in Chicago, Illinois.

Jacky Fung is an associate in Hong Kong. He is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group.

His practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation. He has advised companies and professional parties in a range of contractual and tortious matters. Jacky also has experience advising on regulatory investigations and internal investigations.

Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Jacky was an associate at another U.S. law firm. He received his Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business Administration (Law) (both with First Class Honours) and his Postgraduate Certificate in Laws from the University of Hong Kong. He also spent a year at Yale University as a visiting student during his undergraduate studies.

Ellen Stucky is an associate in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group.

Ellen received her Juris Doctor from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in 2023. Ellen also received her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in 2023.

Prior to attending law school, Ellen worked as an auditor at Deloitte & Touche. Ellen received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame in 2015.

Terry Wong is a litigation associate in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He practices in the firm’s Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Data Innovation and White Collar Defense and Investigations Practice Groups.

Terry represents individuals and major multinational corporations, in criminal, regulatory, and internal investigations, as well as in complex civil litigation. He regularly advises companies on issues related to technology, data privacy, cybersecurity, and consumer protection.

Terry maintains an active pro bono practice. He represented Mr. Jones in a historic civil rights victory over an LAPD officer in Deon Jones v. City of Los Angeles, in which a federal jury unanimously determined that the officer had violated Mr. Jones’ Fourth Amendment rights and awarded Mr. Jones $375,000 in compensatory and punitive damages. Terry has also represented clients in a variety of other pro bono matters, focusing on areas of criminal justice, immigration, and constitutional rights.

Terry received his Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School, where he was named a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and served as an Executive Managing Editor of the Columbia Journal of Law and Social Problems. While in law school, Terry interned at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York in Brooklyn, New York for both the Criminal and Civil Divisions. Vivian earned her Juris Doctor in 2020 from New York University School of Law. She received her Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University in 2015.

Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Vivian served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Kara F. Stoll of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. She also worked in the Washington DC office of global intellectual property law firm in their patent prosecution group prior to her clerkship.

Vivian is a member of the bar of the State of New York and the District of Columbia and is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Zaneta Kim is an associate in the Palo Alto office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department. Her practice focuses on securities, cyber/data privacy and other complex business litigations. Zaneta also represents companies, boards and special committees in government and internal investigations and routinely handles other shareholder and securities related matters, such as responding to books and records demands and FINRA inquiries.

Representative matters include securing an appellate win upholding the dismissal of securities claims against a company that provides online personal styling services, securing dismissals of class action privacy claims alleging violations of wiretap law in connection with online retailers’ use of session replay technology, and representing an international logistics company in a DOJ’s antitrust investigation involving a bid-rigging conspiracy.

Zaneta earned her law degree from Georgetown Law in 2017. While in law school, she served as a student attorney in Georgetown Law’s Appellate Litigation Clinic and as a judicial extern in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. She received her Bachelor of Arts from University of California – Los Angeles in 2013.

Zaneta is a member of the California Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit; the Northern, Southern, Central, and Eastern District Courts of California; and California state courts.

Christopher Scott is a litigation associate in Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher’s New York office.

Christopher received his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2023 and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia in 2017. During law school, Christopher interned at the Massachusetts Division of Administrative Law Appeals and the Supreme Court of Virginia’s Office of the Chief Staff Attorney.
