Advait Ramanan is an associate in the San Francisco office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He practices in the firm’s corporate department, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, capital markets and general corporate matters.
Advait earned his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was an Associate Editor of the Michigan Business & Entrepreneurial Law Review and worked as a student attorney in the Entrepreneurship Clinic . While in law school, he served as the co-President of the American Constitution Society and the South Asian Law Students Association.
Advait received his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from the University of Georgia, where he majored in Political Science. While attending undergrad, he was the Vice President of the Georgia Debate Union and was champion of the American Debate Association National Championship and the Dartmouth Round Robin.
