Gaëtan Valette is an associate in the Paris office of Gibson Dunn and is a member of the firm’s Investment Funds Practice Group.
He specializes in advising on the structuring, creation, and fundraising of French and pan-European private equity investment funds. He also supports portfolio managers in their activities, including negotiations with investors and service providers, as well as regulatory matters such as approvals, AIFMD, and ELTIF. Gaëtan has also experience advising on secondary portfolio transactions and continuation funds.
Gaëtan is admitted to the Paris Bar and graduated from Paris II Panthéon-Assas University (IEJ), holds a Postgraduate Degree in business and tax law (Master 2 business law – DJCE) from the Jean Moulin Lyon III University and a certificate of specialisation (certificat de specialité) in tax law delivered by the University of Montpellier.
He speaks French an English fluently.
