Leo Verlage is an associate in the Munich office of Gibson Dunn. He is a member of the firm's Business Restructuring and Reorganization Practice Group and its Liability Management and Special Situations Practice Group.
Leo advises clients on domestic and cross-border insolvency and restructuring matters as well as distressed financings and liability management transactions.
He studied law at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg. During his legal clerkship, he gained experience in the Munich office of Gibson Dunn and in the private clients practice group of a renowned German law firm. Leo has been admitted as a German lawyer (Rechtsanwalt) since 2026.
In addition to his native German, he is fluent in English.
