October 11, 2021

Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP is pleased to announce that Rosemarie Ring has joined the firm as a partner in the San Francisco office.  Ring, formerly a partner with Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP, will continue her litigation practice with an emphasis on representing technology companies in high-stakes litigation and regulatory matters involving a range of issues, including privacy, consumer protection and intellectual property.

“Rose is a fantastic addition to the firm,” said Barbara Becker, Chair and Managing Partner of Gibson Dunn.  “She is a first-chair litigator with a proven track record of defending companies in high-stakes commercial litigation and high-profile regulatory investigations.  With her experience and skillset, she will be a considerable asset to our litigation practice.”

“We are delighted to welcome Rose to our Bay Area offices,” said Ryan Murr, Co-Partner-in-Charge of the San Francisco office.  “Rose has a deep understanding of the business models and technology that drive the areas of greatest risk for our top clients.  She has repeatedly demonstrated she can translate technical concepts into winning legal arguments and forceful narratives.  With Rose on board, we can better meet the high demand from our clients for the skills she brings to the table.”

“I am thrilled to be joining Gibson Dunn,” said Ring.  “I’ve long admired the firm’s renowned litigation practice, and I am eager to join my new colleagues in delivering superior legal counsel to the country’s leading companies.”
