Overview
Located in Europe’s fastest-growing major economy, our Madrid office leverages deep local expertise and global experience to guide clients through sophisticated transactions across markets.
Led by Armando Albarrán—the only lawyer ranked Band 1 in Spain by Chambers and Partners across three categories: Corporate/M&A (High-end Capability), Private Equity, and Capital Markets (Equity)—our Madrid team advises sponsors, multinational corporations, and financial institutions on their most sophisticated, high-stakes cross-border and domestic matters. The team includes of counsel Alfonso Bernar, Asís Martín de Cabiedes, and Reka Palla, as well as associates Alberto Broseta and Mario Pacini. With Armando’s judgment and market relationships built across three decades advising on Spain’s most consequential transactions, combined with the team’s deep local insight and the full capabilities of our global platform, we execute complex international transactions with clarity, precision, and confidence.
Public and private mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and capital markets work, including IPOs and bonds, are central to our Madrid practice. We guide clients through every stage of the transaction lifecycle, spanning sectors including energy, infrastructure, real estate, telecommunications, and financial services. Our extensive industry knowledge and disciplined execution enable clients to advance strategic priorities in dynamic and competitive markets.
