Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP is pleased to announce that Lilit Voskanyan has joined the firm as a partner and member of the Private Equity Practice Group. Voskanyan, formerly a partner with Kirkland & Ellis LLP, will reside in the firm’s San Francisco office, where she will continue her private equity practice and support the firm’s ongoing Bay Area private equity platform expansion.
“We welcome Lilit to the firm,” said Ken Doran, Chairman and Managing Partner of Gibson Dunn. “Lilit’s experience, background and skillset make her a natural fit, and her addition to our Private Equity Practice Group is another step forward in the context of our global and regional growth plans.”
Charles J. Stevens, Partner-in-Charge of the San Francisco office, said, “Lilit has been consistently praised by peers and clients for her work ethic, market knowledge, outstanding technical and soft skills, and deep understanding of sponsor-backed transactions. Her addition dovetails nicely with the recent lateral additions of private equity partners Abtin Jalali and Chris Harding and global finance partner Laura Rupenian, and will help us continue to build out a robust private equity platform in the Bay Area.”
“I’m thrilled to be joining Gibson Dunn,” Voskanyan said. “I was drawn to the firm for its superb platform, collaborative culture, and excellence in the practice of the legal craft. I am particularly excited about the professional challenge and opportunity to help expand the firm’s Bay Area private equity practice.”
