Partner Sara Weed was quoted in the Forbes article “Washington Crypto Policy Halftime Roundup” on the state of crypto policy deliberations, including the CLARITY Act in the U.S. Senate. “It is undeniable that we are making directional progress, but with limited legislative days and election pressures, it seems unlikely that CLARITY passes this session,” Sara said. “As a result, agencies like the SEC and CFTC will be called on to play even more active roles in creating much-needed certainty for the industry. The question remains, of course, just how far they can take it with their existing authority.”
