The London office's real estate lawyers execute complex, high-end real estate and real estate private equity transactions.  Areas of focus include corporate and investment property acquisitions and disposals, leasing and joint ventures, recapitalizations, loan portfolio acquisitions and distressed trading.   

Our London-based tax lawyers advise UK, U.S. and European clients on structuring transactions of every type, and provide guidance on executive compensation and share incentives.  Our employment team advises on employment aspects of domestic and cross-border M&A and outsourcing transactions, corporate governance and data protection.   

Gibson Dunn's London disputes team offers a wide range of commercial dispute resolution services including a wealth of experience in taking complex matters to trial.  We have specialist trial advocacy capabilities led by the former Lord Chancellor Charles Falconer.  Members of our group regularly handle major domestic and multi-jurisdictional commercial cases before a range of courts and tribunals in the UK and the Commonwealth, the EU and other common-law jurisdictions.

Our antitrust team includes Ali Nikpay, the former Office of Fair Trading senior director for cartels, criminal enforcement and mergers in the UK.  The antitrust team is widely experienced in handling complex matters before EU and UK competition agencies and courts.  Our employment team represents clients before courts and employment tribunals in complex/high-value disputes including discrimination and whistleblowing claims, bonus disputes and breach of contract cases, team moves and restrictive covenant matters.
