Partner Chris Chorba was quoted in the Daily Journal’s (subscription required) “AI Agents Could Upend Class Action Settlement Claims,” questioning the idea that the use of AI agents could lead to an increase in claims rates. “I think we’d have to be careful and skeptical of any significant uptick in percentages,” he said.

Chris added that the answer should not be to presume that a claim is fraudulent simply because AI helped produce it. “The issue isn’t necessarily the source,” he said. “The issue is fraud detection and prevention.”
