Two Gibson Dunn deals were named Deal of the Year at the IJGlobal Investor Awards 2025, which recognize “outstanding performance within the energy and infrastructure industry.” The awards were presented in New York on December 10, 2025.
The award-winning deals were:
Refinance of the Year — Berkshire Hathaway Energy’s 2025 refinancing of its $8.9 billion Revolving Credit Facilities. Our team was led by partner Darius Mehraban, supported by of counsel Jason Durschlag and associate Vlad Zinovyev.
M&A Deal of the Year — Blackstone’s acquisition of Safe Harbor Marinas. The Gibson Dunn team was led by partners Marwan Azzi and Federico Fruhbeck, supported by of counsel Soren Kreider and New York associates Jay Pak, Jack Jacobson, Jessica Um, and Aliya Zuberi.
