Based in the Dallas or Houston office, the Practice Group Management Project Coordinator will provide administrative and logistical support to the Practice Management team across multiple departments.

This role will report directly to the Chief Legal Operations Officer but take daily directions from the Texas Practice Manager.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with planning and logistics for practice group meetings, events, trainings, and presentations, including event planning and preparation of presentation materials.
  • Managing calendar of internal, practice-group specific meetings and events.
  • Preparing internal reports and analyses regarding the firm’s financial performance, including revenue growth, profitability, cost management, associate hours and utilization.
  • Collecting, organizing and tracking practice specific data including pitches, targets, client outreach, and staffing.
  • Assisting with various tracking projects, including handling internal communications, gathering information, and data entry and analysis.
  • Developing, maintaining and organizing practice group files, documents, and databases, ensuring easy access to key information.
  • Identifying recognition opportunities for clients, such as awards, speaking engagements, and industry publications.
  • Assisting Practice Group Managers with coordinating various strategic initiatives, as needed by each practice group.
  • Tracking progress against strategic initiatives and provide updates to PGM to ensure alignment with goals.
  • Responding to internal inquiries in a timely manner and acting as a resource for practice management-related inquiries.
  • Interfacing and collaborating with marketing, business development, and communications teams, including rankings and awards submissions, client updates, litigation funders, identification of targets for existing clients and more.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment, take direction from others,  and exhibit confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Current on legal market trends, news, and innovations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint. Well versed in Microsoft Teams.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a professional services or law firm environment, ideally in a role such as administration, coordination or project management.
  • Four-year college degree required.

Compensation & Benefits:

The annual compensation range for this position is $90-115k. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
