Ignacio Concha

Associate Attorney

Ignacio Concha is an associate in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He is a member of Gibson Dunn’s Mergers and Acquisitions, Projects and Infrastructure, Latin America, Capital Markets, and Finance Practice Groups.

Ignacio’s practice focuses on advising public and privately held companies, investors, financial advisors, boards of directors and individuals in connection with a wide variety of complex corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, various types of financing transactions, leveraged buyouts, asset sales, spin-offs, joint ventures and minority investments and divestitures, especially when such matters involve a cross-border component. As a member of the Latin America practice group, Ignacio takes advantage of his extensive experience advising clients with interests in this region.

Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Ignacio was a the founding partner of the legal corporate practice at Deloitte Legal and FerradaNehme, law firms in Santiago, Chile. He was also a corporate associate at Claro & Cia and Morales & Besa in Chile, Gordon & Rees in California, and an international associate at White & Case in New York.

Ignacio was a lecturer in corporate law at the Diego Portales Law School, in Santiago, Chile.

He received his Law Degree, with high honors, in 2001 from Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile Law School, and received a Master Degree (JSM) from Stanford Law School in 2004, where he was the recipient of the Hewlett Foundation Scholarship, “Building Legal Capacity in Latin America.”

Ignacio is admitted to practice in the States of New York and California, and in the Republic of Chile.
