Sean McFarlane is a corporate partner in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He is a member of Gibson Dunn’s Mergers and Acquisitions and Private Equity Practice Groups.
Mr. McFarlane has extensive experience in U.S. and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity transactions and corporate advisory work. Mr. McFarlane also focuses his practice on advising clients in the sports and entertainment industry with respect to the acquisition and financing of professional sports franchises and the negotiation of media rights agreements.
Mr. McFarlane has been recognized as one of Law360 ’s Rising Stars in Sports and as “One to Watch” in the area of New York Entertainment and Sports by The Best Lawyers in America®.
Mr. McFarlane earned his law degree from Harvard University and graduated with a BA in political science, summa cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame.
