Heather Monte is an associate in the Century City office of Gibson Dunn and a member of the firm’s Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Practice Group. Heather advises clients on the compensation and employee benefits aspects of various corporate transactions, including with respect to complex tax issues arising under Sections 409A and 280G of the Internal Revenue Code. She also helps public companies navigate compensation-related disclosure and represents companies, boards of directors, and management teams in connection with the negotiation and implementation of compensation, employment, consulting, and separation arrangements.
Heather earned a Juris Doctor from the UCLA School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Film from Emory University. Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, she was an Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits associate at an international law firm.
Heather is admitted to practice law in the State of California.
