Established in 1966, our Century City legal team boasts one of the leading U.S. and international film finance practices and has handled some of the largest mergers in the industry.

The Century City office’s dedicated team of 30 attorneys provides a full-service offering to a wide range of clients, with particular capabilities in media and entertainment, corporate transactions and securities, real estate, and civil and commercial litigation—including antitrust, securities litigation, intellectual property, and white-collar defense and investigations. We have extensive experience supporting content-driven clients and those concerned with intellectual property, including motion picture studios and music companies, technology companies, gaming companies, private equity funds, sports and talent agencies.

Our lawyers guide corporations and financial institutions in complex corporate restructurings as well as public and private financing transactions. Our real estate clients range from privately held entrepreneurial developers to the owners, developers and financiers of some of the largest U.S. real estate projects. We counsel on all aspects of asset ownership and management, development and entitlement, environmental and land use issues, financing, and investment transactions and workouts. Litigation and litigation avoidance are also a substantial component of our practice in the Century City office, which is home to some of the pre-eminent U.S. trial lawyers. We represent a diverse array of clients in matters involving media and entertainment disputes, business and commercial torts, and antitrust (including civil and criminal government investigations). Client work additionally includes transnational litigation, class actions and other complex litigation matters.
