Sydney Sherman is an associate in the Orange County office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She is a member of the Real Estate Department where she represents private equity funds, institutional and non-institutional investors, developers, operators, lenders and borrowers in negotiating and structuring a variety of complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, financing, preferred equity investments, construction and development, licensing, leasing, and asset management.

Ms. Sherman handles transactions for variety of asset classes, including hotels, residential single family homes and multifamily, raw land, residential developments, mixed-use projects, retail spaces, office buildings, life sciences facilities and industrial properties. Ms. Sherman regularly counsels clients on a broad range of legal issues encountered in connection with the acquisition, disposition, financing, development, ownership and management of real estate assets throughout the United States.

Ms. Sherman received her Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law.  Prior to law school, she graduated magna cum laude from McGill University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.

Ms. Sherman is admitted to practice law in the State of California.
