Amanda Sterling

Associate Attorney

Amanda Sterling is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She currently practices in the firm’s Litigation Department.

She has represented individual and corporate clients across various industries in federal district and appellate courts. Her practice focuses on complex civil matters, including private antitrust actions, consumer class actions, and commercial disputes. She also maintains an active pro bono practice, in which she has represented clients asserting constitutional claims, immigration-related claims, and claims for post-conviction relief.

Amanda earned her law degree from New York University School of Law in 2016, where she was editor-in-chief of the NYU Journal of Legislation and Public Policy. Prior to law school, Amanda worked in the newsroom at a nationwide media organization. She graduated with honors from New York University in 2011, where she earned degrees in theatre and journalism.

She is admitted to practice in New York and the District of Columbia, and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.
