Suzanne Thomson is a partner in the London office of Gibson Dunn and is a member of the firm's Business Restructuring and Reorganization practice group.
Suzanne specializes in large-scale, complex cross-border restructurings and distressed and special situations. She advises debtor-side corporates and financial sponsors as well as a wide range of sophisticated creditors, including CLOs, asset managers and other large financial institutions.
Suzanne brings broad experience across the full spectrum of restructuring mandates, having acted on some of the most significant cross-border restructurings of recent years, including engagements implemented through parallel proceedings in multiple jurisdictions.
Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Suzanne was special counsel in the Financial Restructuring Group of another leading international law firm. Suzanne is admitted to practice in England and Wales.

- The ad hoc group of first lien and second lien noteholders in connection with restructuring of the Talk Talk Group
- The senior lenders in connection with restructuring of the Accell Group
- The ad hoc group of first lien and second lien noteholders in connection with the recapitalisation of the Selecta Group
- The ad hoc group of senior unsecured noteholders in connection with the €25 billion restructuring of Altice France S.A.
- The ad hoc group of noteholders of in connection with the restructuring of the Codere Group
- The shareholders of Ideal Standard in relation to an exchange offer in connection with a proposed M&A process
- Vue on its £1 billion recapitalization,
- Hertz Global Holdings, Inc. and certain affiliates in their Chapter 11 cases and restructuring negotiations in Europe, Australia, and Asia-Pacific
- Oi S.A., a Brazilian telecommunications group, on its US$20 billion restructuring by way of a Brazilian recuperação judicial process and via parallel processes in the United Kingdom, the United States, the Netherlands, and Portugal
- Senior secured creditors in connection with the administration and restructuring of a care homes group
