BIOGRAPHY

Zachary Tyree is an associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.  He practices in the firm’s Litigation Department.

Before joining Gibson Dunn, Mr. Tyree served as a law clerk to Justice Amy Coney Barrett of the Supreme Court of the United States, Judge Jeffrey S. Sutton of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and Judge Joan L. Larsen of the Michigan Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.  He also served as an Attorney-Adviser in the Office of Legal Counsel at the United States Department of Justice.  Mr. Tyree graduated with highest honors from George Washington University Law School in 2017, where he was a Managing Editor of the George Washington Law Review.  In 2014, he earned a B.A. in History, summa cum laude, from Liberty University.

Mr. Tyree is admitted to practice in Virginia and the District of Columbia.  He is a member of the bars of the Supreme Court of the United States and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
