Partner Trey Cox discussed with Texas Lawyer (subscription required) why he is bullish on the use of artificial intelligence using proprietary systems that protect client’s data. “AI is the industrial revolution of the practice of law, and if you are not learning how to use AI, you are falling behind.”

Trey also acknowledged that AI does have its limitations. “I think that AI does a lot of things well. I think it does some things poorly,” he said. “I don’t think it does a great job of drafting briefs, and I think that’s why you hear about hallucinations in court.”
