April 27, 2015

The Recorder named Gibson Dunn a finalist in its 2015 Litigation Department of the Year competition. The firm was one of three firms named in the overall category. The biennial  feature recognizes “California Litigation practices that delivered standout results on their clients’ most critical matters.”  Gibson Dunn was honored for litigation successes including winning a landmark civil rights decision protecting children’s fundamental right to education by striking down California’s teacher tenure and dismissal statutes as unconstitutional.  Partners Theodore Boutrous and Marcellus McRae were honored by The Recorder in the same competition as Ground Breakers for their work in the case.  The feature published on April 27, 2015 issue.
