Cercle Montesquieu, a French association of general counsels, has awarded Paris partner Jean-Philippe Robé the 2016 Prix du Cercle Montesquieu for his book, “Le temps du monde de l’entreprise – Globalisation et mutation du système juridique,” which addresses the essential role that enterprises play in the globalization process. The award is given on a yearly basis to the best corporate or legal management book for general counsels as selected by a nine-member jury that included the general counsels of Groupe Figaro, Oracle France, SNCF, Bayer HealthCare, Groupe Pernod Ricard, and Samsung France. The award was presented on April 5, 2016 by the General Solicitor of the French Government.
