The Lawyer has named London partner Ali Nikpay [PDF] to its Hot 100 list featuring “standout lawyers in the UK over the past year” who are “the most daring, innovative and creative.” The list was published on January 29, 2019.
Nikpay, a Hot 100 Litigator, has more than 20 years of EU and UK merger control, antitrust and litigation experience in both the private and public sectors. In naming him to the Hot 100, The Lawyer noted that “few other practices can say they have dealt with more high-profile competition cases over the past three years.” Prior joining the firm, he served at both the European Commission’s DG for Competition (DG COMP) and the UK competition authority. He is co-editor of “Faull & Nikpay: The EU Law of Competition.”
