The American Lawyer named the Chapter 11 Restructuring of Gibson Dunn client Arcapita Bank as the winner of its Global Finance Grand Prize at the publication’s Global Legal Awards event on September 15, 2014. The award was one of four grand prizes awarded for “the year’s best cross-border legal work in the categories of corporate, finance, disputes and citizenship.” In addition, Gibson Dunn was recognized twice in the Global Disputes category: Global Dispute of the Year: U.S. Human Rights Litigation for Chevron v. Donziger and Global Dispute of the Year: U.S. Financial Litigation for NML v. Argentina.
