The New York Law Journal named Avi Weitzman as one of its 2014 Rising Stars. The list featured 42 lawyers under age 40 from large and small firms, public interest agencies, academia, government and corporations, who “exhibit the first-rate legal skills, keen judgment, creativity and dedication that have made a lasting impression on their colleagues and clients” and “represent the next generation of dynamic, intelligent and civic minded New York bar leaders.” The Rising Stars were selected by a panel of 20 judges, who reviewed more than 230 nominees.
