Crain’s Names Mylan Denerstein and Saee Muzumdar Among 2023 Notable Women in Law

Crain’s New York Business named New York partners Mylan Denerstein and Saee Muzumdar among its 2023 Notable Women in Law, which honors 100 lawyers in New York “who have performed consequential legal or pro bono work, served as mentors, promoted inclusivity and assumed leadership roles in civic or philanthropic endeavors.” The list was published on June 20, 2023.

Mylan Denerstein is Co-Chair of the Public Policy Practice Group, Global Chair of the Firm’s Diversity Committee and Co-Partner-in-Charge of the New York office. She leads complex litigation and internal investigations, representing companies confronting a wide range of legal issues, in their most critical times. In 2022, Mylan was appointed to serve as the independent NYPD Monitor to oversee the court ordered reform process.

Saee Muzumdar is Co-Chair of the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group. She is a corporate transactional lawyer whose practice includes representing both strategic companies and private equity clients (including their portfolio companies) in connection with all aspects of their domestic and cross-border M&A activities and general corporate counseling.
