The Daily Journal named Los Angeles partners Theane Evangelis and Debra Wong Yang to its 2023 list of Top Women Lawyers, an “annual list of the top-performing women lawyers in California.” The profiles were published on June 21, 2023.
Theane Evangelis is Co-Chair of the firm’s global Litigation Practice Group. She has served as lead counsel in a wide range of bet-the-company appellate, constitutional, class action, labor and employment, media and entertainment, and crisis management matters in trial and appellate courts across the country.
Debra Wong Yang is Chair of the Crisis Management Practice Group. She leads critical representations, both high profile and highly confidential, involving a wide variety of industries, economic sectors, regulatory bodies, law enforcement agencies, global jurisdictions and all types of proceedings. She has a strong background in addressing and resolving problems across the white collar litigation spectrum, including through corporate and individual representations, internal investigations, crisis management and compliance.
