David Battaglia has been elected the 41st President of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers for 2014-15 by the Board of Governors. With more than 1,300 members throughout the Los Angeles area, ABTL has a diverse Board of federal and state jurists at both the trial and appellate levels, and a balanced group of the most respected plaintiff and defense business trial lawyers in the region with all major law firms represented. It is dedicated to furthering communication between the bench and the bar, and between the plaintiff and defense bars, and encouraging civility and professionalism in civil cases. It conducts dinner and lunch programs with featured speakers and trial demonstrations, has an Annual Seminar for members throughout the State, conducts extensive public service activities, and publishes the recognized ABTL Report distributed to litigators in southern California. The new executive officers were announced on June 24, 2014.
